Vegas tailspin continues with loss to Orlando

The Vegas Rollers' playoff hopes are fading fast.
Vegas – with ex-Stanford All-Americans Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan and San Francisco native Sam Querrey – lost to the Orlando Storm 22-16 today in a World TeamTennis match at The Greenbrier resort in White Sulphur Springs, W.V. It was the Rollers' fourth loss in five matches and fifth in seven.
Vegas fell to 4-6, sixth in the nine-team league. The Rollers must win at least three of their remaining four matches to have a chance of qualifying for the four-team playoffs, Aug. 1-2 at The Greenbrier.
Today's match was tied 12-12 at intermission, but Orlando (5-4) won the last two sets by a combined score of 10-4 to even the season series against Vegas at 1-1.
